True Luxury - American Style

Classic luxury sedan Chrysler 300 enters new era with 2016 300, 300C

With the new 2016 Chrysler 300, the veteran Detroit automaker has managed to create a quiet, comfortable, well-constructed car that succeeds in encapsulating everything that makes a Chrysler a Chrysler. It's a decidedly premier American sedan with plenty of room, lots of luxury, and plenty of clout to push most other domestic luxury sedans out of its way.

Not only does the Chrysler 300 somehow straddle the line between the mass market and luxury, it manages to do so in a refined, forward-thinking manner in its execution of its flagship sedan. And the price point for the 2016 300 also offers up a pretty nice incentive to potential buyers, with a starting MSRP of around $32,000.

Northland Chrysler Jeep Dodge in Oak Park is located just miles from where the iconic carmaker was founded. We carry a large stock of brand new and pre-owned 300s for sale in our showroom right now. With competitive leasing options and exemplary after-sale service solutions, come see Northland of Southfield if you're in the market for your own 2016 Chrysler 300.

What Drives the Motor City's Best

The new 300 has placed a strong emphasis on refinement, upscale amenities, and a ton of performance.

The 2016 edition is offered with two engine options: a 292-hp 3.6-liter V-6 that provides some of the best acceleration and fuel economy in not just a luxury sedan, but any sedan. Or for those that need a little more grunt to go with that stately exterior, Chrysler also offers a heftier 363-hp 5.7-liter Hemi V-8. Both engine configurations are mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission with rear-wheel drive standard and all-wheel drive optional for the V-6.

On the road, the sedan features an upgraded suspension system aimed at improving how the 300 handles. It's a bigger vehicle, driving on 17-inch alloy wheels (19-inch with all-wheel drive), and is surprisingly responsive for its size - a size that's a big draw for both its appearance and its comfort.

And that comfort extends into the inside as well. With heated mirrors, LED daytime running lights and taillights, a rearview camera, keyless entry and ignition, heated eight-way power front, voice controls, WiFi hotspot access and a six-speaker sound system with an auxiliary audio jack, a USB port and satellite radio… Chrysler has decided to stop just short of the kitchen sink when it comes to the 2016 300's amenities. Tech-wise, it gets the addition of Siri Eyes Free voice control, and Chrysler's Uconnect control interface, a large 8.4-inch touchscreen.

One of the best, and most utilitarian touchscreens on the market today, Uconnect features large icons big enough to be hit with a finger and a design that's easy to understand and operate, a rarity as more luxury automakers seek to cram overly complex tech anywhere they can.
