The Jeep Compass is a unique crossover SUV, in that it falls somewhere between the compact and mid-size range. In terms of the Jeep heritage brand, the Compass is larger than the Renegade compact crossover, but smaller than the Cherokee SUV. In this sense, the Compass provides the best of both worlds, with a sporty and nimble frame, while still providing more space inside than your average compact crossover. The 2022 model year is ringing in tons of exciting updates for the Jeep Compass, including a redesigned exterior with slim horizontal headlights, and an overall streamlined front fascia for an elegant look. There’s also a new trim level called the Latitude LUX joining the lineup, which brings the total number of trim levels up to five. Sport
The Sport trim starts out with a very substantial list of standard features that will provide you with everything you need for your daily commute! The new front fascia is complimented by slim horizontal LED light fixtures, and there’s also an updated standard safety package with features like adaptive cruise control, blind-spot monitoring, and active lane management. Inside, the seats are upholstered in cloth fabric, and the dashboard features the brand-new Uconnect 5 system. This system includes an 8.4-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone connectivity.

Latitude
The Latitude has several additional features that bring it to the next level from where the Sport trim left off. In addition to the LED headlights, the LAtitude features LED fog lamps, and cornering lamps. The Latitude features black roof rails for a sleek and glossy look, as well as the ability to carry extra cargo. Heated side mirrors on the exterior help prevent obscured visibility due to frost or snow, so you never have to waste time cleaning them off on a cold winter morning. There’s even a keyless entry system so you can enter the vehicle easily, and start the engine with the press of a button.

Latitude LUX
The Latitude LUX is new for the 2022 model year, and it’s making quite the statement! This trim level integrates even more luxurious features into the lineup by introducing them into the centerpiece of the range. The Latitude LUX features a leather interior, as well as a leather-wrapped steering wheel. It also has heated, eight-way power-adjustable front seats for added comfort, and so you can adjust your seat to all your specific preferences. In place of the standard 8.4-inch touchscreen, the Uconnect 5 system of the Latitude LUX measures 10.1 inches, and is also joined by a 7-inch digital cluster gauge.

Trailhawk
The Trailhawk trim is built for off-road adventures! It bears the Jeep Trail Rated Badge because it’s been rigorously tested in the real-world elements to make sure it can stand up to any challenge. The Trailhawk comes with a 1-inch factory lift, which allows it to expertly crawl over uneven terrain and even ford up to 19 inches of water. The Trailhawk also has a red and black anti-glare hood decal, red-painted front tow hooks, steel underbody skid plates, and a 30-degree approach angle. Its off-road acumen is further enhanced by its off-road tied suspension, and all-season tires.

Limited
The Limited trim finishes off the lineup for the 2022 Jeep Compass. This trim level has the most upscale and refined theme overall, and seeks to deliver the most luxurious features. It comes with standard 4-wheel drive using the Jeep Active Drive 4X4 system, as well as a 9-speed automatic transmission. This is also accompanied by a remote start system, which allows you to start your ignition before you even reach the vehicle! The Limited also comes with dual-zone automatic climate control, and even has a wireless smartphone charging pad. There’s also a new colorway debuting for 2022, which includes elegant Burnished Copper accent stitching on the leather seats.
