As with previous years, the Sport trim kicks off the 2023 Wrangler lineup. This is the Wrangler’s most basic form, offering a 285-horsepower 3.6-liter V6 engine, a 6-speed manual transmission, and Command-Trac part-time 4×4. Additionally, the Wrangler provides its open-air freedom that has become its staple with a fold-down windshield, removable doors, and a removable top. Other exterior features include 17-inch steel wheels, tow hooks, a Sunrider soft top, Dana 44 solid axles, black fender flares, black bumpers, and underbody skid plates. Inside the Wrangler Sport, you’ll find push-button start, six speakers, cloth upholstery, a 7-inch infotainment touchscreen, Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, and steering wheel-mounted audio controls.

The Sahara levels up across the board, beginning with a 2.0-liter turbocharged inline-4 engine, offering 270 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque. The Wrangler Sahara also comes standard with the “Unlimited” body style, offering four doors, a feature that is optional for most other trim levels. Outside the Wrangler Sahara, you’ll discover 18-inch alloy wheels, body-color fender flares, heated/power-adjustable side mirrors, power windows/door locks, and a remote proximity key. Inside, you’ll find a 9-speaker Alpine premium audio system, dual-zone automatic climate control, an 8.4-inch touchscreen, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, navigation, and an auto-dimming rearview mirror.

The Wrangler Rubicon takes you for a walk on the wild side with unparalleled off-roading equipment. This begins with the Rock-Trac transfer case, offering a 4:1 low-range gear ratio for unrivaled low-speed crawling control. The Rubicon also offers an electronic sway bar disconnect, allowing you to disconnect the front sway bar at the push of a button to allow the front wheels to rise and fall further, making it easy to keep all four wheels grounded. Other standard equipment for the Wrangler Rubicon includes locking front and rear differentials, FOX off-roading suspension, 33-inch all-terrain tires, red accent stitching, and a red dash panel.

The suitably named High Altitude trim tops off the lineup with an array of standard features improving its style, functionality, and comfort. Outside, the Wrangler High Altitude gains LED lighting, 20-inch alloy wheels, a body-color hard top, and body-color fender flares, door handles, bumpers, and mirrors. Inside, you’ll gain Nappa leather-trimmed upholstery. Like the Sahara trim, the High Altitude is also only available with four doors and offers the 2.0L turbocharged I-4 engine as standard equipment.
