What is the Entry-Level Jeep Wrangler?

Powered by a 285-horsepower 3.6L V6, the Jeep Wrangler Sport continues to kick off the lineup. As standard equipment, the V6 engine is paired with a 6-speed manual transmission that powers all four wheels with Command-Trac 4×4. However, an 8-speed automatic transmission is optional. While the Wrangler’s iconic seven-slot Grill remains, it gains a new color scheme with Neutral Gray Metallic bezels, black textured slots, and body-colored surrounds. Also remaining, of course, is the open-air freedom provided by removable doors, a removable top, and a fold-down windshield. New for 2024 is a windshield-integrated stealth antenna replacing the steel mast antenna that was notorious for getting snagged on tree branches while off-roading. Other exterior features for the 2024 Wrangler Sport include Dana heavy-duty front and rear axles, 32-inch tires, 17-inch steel wheels, and more. Getting behind the wheel, you’ll discover an all-new 12.3 in Uconnect 5 Touch Screen, which features Wireless Apple CarPlay/ Android Auto, Amazon Alexa, and many more advanced in-vehicle technologies. Other interior features include newly standard side curtain airbags, a new Gray Soul instrument panel, and many more features that make the 2024 Wrangler stand out.

Willys – Forged in Battle

In 1941, Willys-Overland was contracted by the United States Army to provide a quarter-ton 4×4 light reconnaissance vehicle, and thus, the Willys Jeep MB was born, planting the seed for what would become the Jeep brand. Honoring the Willys Jeep MB, the modern Wrangler Willys features rugged attributes for all-terrain prowess. these include the same shock absorbers featured on the Rubicon trim, 33-inch mud terrain tires 1 inch larger than the previous generation, a locking rear differential, the same rock rails as the Rubicon trim, and more. The Willys trim stands out with exclusive decals like the ‘Willys’ decal on the sides of the hood in a military stencil font and the ‘4-Wheel Drive’ one on the rear swing gate. The cabin of the Willys trim is adorned with a nine-speaker Alpine premium audio system, all-weather floor mats and the Trailer Tow Package with auxiliary switches.
