What’s New for the 2022 Jeep Compass

Seeing as how the Compass is a Jeep vehicle, you know it will come with superior off-road capability. Most of the amazing off-road equipment will come via the Traiilhawk trim, with solid water fording and spectacular ground clearance that should tackle about any terrain. This year, a Selec-Terrain toggle will make switching from Auto, Snow, Sand, Mud, and Rock modes that much easier, while the Jeep Active Drive 4X4 features a rear axle that will disconnect and will seamlessly transfer from two to four-wheel-drive. Jeep Active Drive Low is exclusive to the Trailhawk trim, with a mode that adds an amazing 20.1 crawl ratio for better capability. Both systems let you shift all of its available torque to any wheel.

As part of its complete overhaul, the Compass comes with more standard safety features than ever before. New standard safety systems include Forward Collision with Active Braking, which will use advanced radar sensors to detect if the Compass is approaching another vehicle too quickly. It can even alert you and apply the brakes if needed. Also standard is a Blind Spot Monitoring System that will alert you when another vehicle is in your blind spot, while Rear-Cross Path Detection will let you know if there is another vehicle behind you. You also get standard Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop and Go, automatically adjusting your driving speed and maintaining a pre-set distance between the Compass and the vehicle ahead.

Not only have the safety and off-raod features been improved, but the cabin has also been altered as well. The new high-tech cabin has a new instrument panel with slim AC vents hand-wrapped in leather, providing a more refined dashboard. Meanwhile, the all-new door trim and bezels complement the cabin’s bold look nicely with more subtle details, while the available heated rear seats offer passengers more comfort in cold weather. Passengers will also be provided with more connectivity and charging via front and rear-seat USB ports. Further adding to the cabin’s advanced technology is the available wireless charging pad, a quick and easy way to charge your smartphone.

The 2022 Jeep Compass allows you to get all the data when you need it. Over 35 amazing technological advances strewn throughout the cabin, including two Uconnect systems and an incredible 10.25-inch Driver Digital Cluster Display. On the outside of the vehicle, consumers will be treated to the Compass’s outer beauty as the front and rear fascias have been completely refreshed, and the LED lighting makes for a premium look whether in the day or night. The 2022 Compass also comes with an updated version of the traditional seven-slot grille with new textures, which gives the Compass a more refined look.
